No more Fuller House? Season 5 cancelled rumor

TVLine reported in October 2018 that Netflix is "seriously considering ending Fuller House." But a spokesperson from the streaming service refuted the claim saying that no such decision has been made. "No decision has been made about the future of Fuller House; we're looking forward to the premiere of Season 4 later this year," told the source to TVLine.

Candace Cameron Bure, who plays D.J. Tanner, shut down cancellation rumors in an interview with E!. She told the outlet, "I don't know why or how that rumor got started. I think it was a slow news day and someone wanted to make more of it than it is. I have no doubt that we're going to be back for Season 5."

Fuller house or Full house??

If you were a fan of the 1987s TV series Full House then Fuller house is the desert to your meal. The sequel to Full house, “Fuller House” is a Netflix original directed by Jeff Franklin. Another single parent story but this time with a widowed mother of three sons, the show has veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller played by Candace Cameron Bure as the mother of 13-year-old Jackson, 7-year-old Max, and baby Tommy Jr.

They live together with DJ’s sister Stephanie, best friend Kimmy, and Kimmy’s teenage daughter Ramona at Tanner’s childhood home in San Francisco, California. Most of the original cast members from the Full house series have made appearances in the show and recognizing them is one of our guilty pleasures.\

Between Season 3 and Season 4, there was a shake up behind-the-scenes. Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin was fired as showrunner after a number of writers and staffers accused him of inappropriate behavior on set. Fuller House executive producers Steve Baldikoski and Bryan Behar replaced Franklin for Season 4.

Who plays DJ Tanner-Fuller in Fuller house?? 

Exceptional cast members and excellent directors have made the show a huge success. Although the show did receive criticism around the release of the show which mostly included the public’s disappointment, the people opened up after some time. The role of DJ-Tanner Fuller is played by Candace Cameron Bure who played the role of DJ-Tanner in the original Full House series. American actress, producer, author, and talk show panelist, Candace has shown exceptional acting skills and given out a mature aura giving she plays the role of a widowed full time working mother of three sons Jackson, Max, and Tommy Jr. 

Jackson played by Michael Campion, Max by Elias Harger and Tommy Jr. played by Dashiell & Fox Messitt, each of the boys has their own personalities and all of them have executed their roles excellently.

Jodie Sweetin has reappeared once again as Stephanie Tanner, DJ’s loving younger sister who left her life in London to help DJ raise her children. The role of Kimmy DJ’s best friend is played by Andrea Laura Barber. She is an owner of a party planning business and is also a mother of a teenage daughter played by Soni Nicole Bringas.

Other cast includes Juan Pablo Di Pace Kimmy’s ex-husband/ fiancé, Scott Weinger as Steve Hale DJ’s high school sweetheart, and many more. Lori Loughlin also has a recurring role in the show as DJ and Stephanie’s aunt.

Why won’t Aunt Becky be on season 5 anymore?

Celebrity scandals are a tough journey for both, the person involved in the scandal and the business associated with the person. In Lori’s case, the scandal was not a small issue but an actual criminal fraud. Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were both arrested on March 12, 2019, in connection with an alleged nationwide college entrance exam cheating scandal.

Because of this she will no longer be part of the Fuller House series and has also been removed from her hallmark channel’s hit series When Calls the Heart. Fuller house will continue without Lori but we don’t know how they are going to do that being aunt Becky is the original cast since the 80s. We will just have to wait and see.

Where can you see Fuller house??

The final season, season 5 of the series has been divided into two parts A and B. The part A was released Friday, December 6, 2019, with 9 episodes and the rest of the 9 episodes or part B was released on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, on Netflix. 

The ending is believed to be very satisfying and according to Candice fans won’t be disappointed. "I'm very happy with the ending of the show, and I do think the fans are going to love it," she told Life & Style. "It really ties up all the storylines as to where everyone will be. ... It's kind of the ending that we didn't get on Full House. It's a really great last episode, but get the tissues." says Candice.
