Marty is an American investigative reporter and radio talk show host working for KDKA-TV and KDKA-AM radio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. An Ohio University graduate, Marty is a native of Pittsburgh. Before joining KDKA he used to work as a journalist in Wichita Falls, Texas. Kristine and Marty met in March 1979 and were married in May 2003.

Marty suffered from HPV cancer back in 2018. And throughout his fight with cancer, Kristine was there for him. She even went as far as taking a leave from the job for several weeks to be with her sick husband. Marty successfully recovered after 7 weeks.
