Did Hallmark Channel cancel When Calls the Heart?

Hallmark Channel values its wholesome reputation and being associated with someone involved in something as controversial as the biggest college scandal in history wouldn't go with the brand. So, the network has decided to cut ties with Lori Loughlin.

But don't worry Hearties! Hallmark Channel hasn't canceled When Calls the Heart and has no plans of doing so. The popular show will go on without Abigail Stanton, Lori Loughlin's character on the show. "#Hearties, we assure you that Hallmark Channel has no plans to cancel When Calls the Heart. Hope Valley has many more stories left to share and we will let you know the details soon," the channel announced on Instagram on March 15.

Hallmark has canceled Loughlin's other show, Garage Sale Mysteries, and stopped all other production featuring Lori Loughlin on the Crown Media Family Network channels. The channel revealed that they are currently "evaluating all creative options around the When Calls the Heart series."

Netflix has followed suit and announced that Loughlin won't be appearing when Fuller House returns for Season 5 this fall.
