The Genoa City canvas displayed a new face on the May 9th episode - and it was of Luken. He appeared in the brand new role of Theo Vanderway, who is an old friend of the soap’s hunk, Kyle Abbott. The two met while Kyle was in New York.

Reports state that Luken isn’t going to be here for a long time. It has already been announced that the soap has hired actor Tyler Johnson in the role of Theo. 

Y&R confirmed that the new Theo Vanderway would make his debut on Monday, June 3. However, the soap has not shared any reasons behind this talent-shuffle.

Y&R marks Luken’s debut in the soap opera world but he is not new in the acting industry. He has done some remarkable movies and tv shows in the past, which includes the famous musical drama television series, Nashville.

He joined Nashville in January 2018 for the show’s final season. He played the role of Jonah Ford, a very good looking pop star, who falls in love with Maddie Conrad. He appeared in eleven episodes of Nashville.

While Luken’s stint on Nashville was relatively short, he did leave the show with some lasting friendships. He said that the kids that played his friends on the show all live in LA, so they became friends in real life.

Luken was born on October 18, 1992. The 26-year-old is currently focused on things more than just acting. He is associated with a record label, Alls Well Records. 

He is quite reserved about his personal life and has not shared much detail on social media as well. He is available on Twitter @NicLuken and on Instagram @nicluken but he is not active on both the sites, as of now. No wonder, details of his girlfriend is obscure.
