Shia LaBeouf’s love life has once again come under the spotlight as he has allegedly broken up with his girlfriend FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett). Is the mystery woman with whom he was spotted in LA his new girlfriend? Let’s find out.

Shia LaBeouf and FKA Twigs’ dating facts

Shia and Twigs met on the set of an upcoming American movie, Honey Boy. In the film, which had its world premiere in January this year at the Sundance Film Festival, LaBeouf appears in the role of James Lort and Twigs as a shy girl. The film is scheduled to hit the cinemas on November 8, 2019.

The artists began filming for the movie in May 2018, in Los Angeles, California. During this time, LaBeouf was still married to his former girlfriend-turned-wife actress Mia Goth. 

Like his recent girlfriend, LaBeouf had also met Mia on the set of a movie. It was a 2012’s movie, Nymphomaniac, in which LaBeouf played the role of Jerôme Morris while Goth played the role of P.

LaBeouf and Goth began their relationship shortly afterward. Then on October 10, 2016, the couple appeared in a Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator to get married.

The wedding created a buzz in the media after a local official revealed that the pair was not legally married. Turns out, the pair had participated in a commitment ceremony. However, when LaBeouf appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show later that month, he confirmed their nuptials.

Two years later, in September 2018, it was announced that Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth had separated and filed for divorce. The news came about four months after the rumors of LaBeouf and Twigs’ relationship began brewing.

Following his divorce with Goth, LaBeouf was spotted out in the public with his girlfriend Twigs on multiple occasions. However, it has been quite a long time since the two were seen in the public, which has people speculating that the two might have split up.

Although LaBeouf and Twigs never officially confirmed their break up, a source close to Twigs stated that the duo has put their relationship “on hold.” The source also confirmed that they were spending the time apart while Twigs was on her Magdalene tour.

The source said, “FKA has been focusing on her tour and she wanted to put all of her heart and soul into it. They are really up in the air right now and were waiting until all of her work commitments were fulfilled to figure it out.” The source also said that communication between the two has been minimal.

In June 2019, LaBeouf was spotted in the public with a mystery woman. They were seen heading to Kanye West’s Sunday Church service in Calabasas and it was not the only time the two were seen together. 

LaBeouf and the mystery brunette once again appeared in the public and this time to enjoy a lunch date at Otium restaurant in Downtown LA.

Meanwhile, Twigs also seemed to have moved on. There aren’t any official statement but rumors are there that Twigs is dating fashion editor Reuben Esser.
