Who is Teemu Pukki’s wife Kirsikka Pukki?

Pukki’s wife Kirsikka Laurikka is from Turku, Finland, while the player is from Kotka, Finland. She celebrates her birthday on April 22, that’s three weeks and three days after Pukki’s. She is a practical nurse.

The two have been in a relationship for a long time. Pukki’s Instagram suggests that the two have been together since late 2015 because January 1, 2016, was the first time when he introduced his girlfriend to his social media followers. 

Pukki shared a lovely picture of them and shared a heart emoticon on the caption to wish everyone a happy new year.

The two became engaged shortly afterward and welcomed a baby girl in 2017. The baby girl is named Olivia and she is already creating a lot of sensation on Instagram as the baby momma’s profile is filled with pictures of her.

Pukki announced the big news that they were expecting a baby on July 1, 2017, via Instagram. Turns out, Kirsikka was already four-months-pregnant at that time, as she gave birth to Olivia on December 17 that year.

Pukki, along with his fiancée and their 7-months-old daughter, moved from Copenhagen to England in August 2018 with him joining Norwich City. 

Talking of the migration, Kirsikka later said in an interview, “We're here to enjoy. The city is reminiscent of my hometown in Finland, so it's quite homey here.”

She stated that settling in the city went well except for finding a house. 

“I had no idea where we were going. I didn't know anything about the city or the team, so I had no expectations. I am glad that things turned like this,” Laurikko said.

Having friends helped her a lot to settle in the new city. “It's very different when you have friends who have the same lifestyle as you. They know what's going on in your life in a very different way than anyone else. All the women here are very nice,” Laurikko said of the partners and wives of other Norwich players.

After nearly one and a half years of celebrating parenthood, Teemu Pukki and Kirskikka Laurikko got married in a lavish ceremony in Hanko, Finland. The two married on June 14, 2019, and held a small ceremony, which was attended by well-known Finnish soccer players. 

One of the guests was Përparim Hetemaj, a Finnish footballer, who’s currently a midfielder for Italian club Benevento. Përparim shared a picture of the bride and the groom, along with other players, on Instagram to congratulate the newly married couple. 

Mrs. Pukki shared the first glimpse from their wedding day on July 15, flaunting her beautiful wedding gown.
