The Bold Type season 3 premiere date

Sadly, Freeform has not yet revealed a premiere date for the season 3. But we do know that you won't have to wait long. On December 17, 2018, Freeform took to Twitter to announce that The Bold Type season 3 will return in the spring of 2019.

Season 1 aired on June 20, 2017 while Season 2 returned on June 12 the following year. If the show follows the release schedule, viewers can expect The Bold Type season 3 to premiere in mid-June.

We have yet to see a trailer for the new season of The Bold Type. But we do know a little about the season premiere.

It has been revealed that The Bold Type season 3 premiere will feature a special performance from singer-songwriter Betty Who. She appears as herself in the first episode of The Bold Type Season 3 where she performs at a Scarlet Magazine event.

EW released an exclusive first look at Betty Who's guest appearance, which shows her smiling on stage. Can't wait for the season 3 premiere!

The Bold Type season 3 cast

Kat (Aisha Dee), Sutton (Meghann Fahy) and Jane (Katie Stevens) have been confirmed to return to Season 3. 

According to Deadline, we will be seeing two new faces in the new season. Peter Vack and Alexis Floyd are joining The Bold Type season 3 as recurring characters.

Vack will portray Patrick Duchand, who is described as "a magnetic, fearless, and whip-smart new staffer at Scarlet whose employment shakes things up." Floyd will play "smart and driven campaign manager" Tia Clayton.
