Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores were one of the fan-favorite couples on TLC's 90 Day Fiancé Season 6. They were quick to gain attention from viewers for their age gap. Jonathan, 32, and Fernanda, 20. got married on the season finale but seemingly, they are no longer together.
Jonathan and Fernanda seemingly got married in May 2018
Jon (born October 3, 1986) is a realtor from Lumberton, North Carolina. He met Fer (born November 19, 1998) at a club in Mexico while he was vacationing there. Fer is a native of Mexico and was only 17 when she began dating 30-year-old Jon.
Despite having 12 years age gap, the couple went strong with their relationship, leading to getting engaged. Fer got her K-1 visa and entered the USA with her fiancé in February of 2018. A K-1 visa allows the engaged partner to proceed with the permanent residence if the couple gets married within 90 days. Based on this fact, it seems that Fernanda and Jonathan tied the knot back in May 2018.
Viewers got to watch Jon and Fer's wedding on the season finale on December 30, 2018. Before the episode aired, both Jon and Fer had shared a few glimpses of their wedding photo shoot on Instagram. Jon made it clear on the caption that it was just a photo shoot and not their real wedding, which also suggest that they had wedded back in May.
Are Jonathan and Fernanda still together now?
On the new year's day, Jon took to Instagram to wish his fans a happy new year. His post fueled the speculations among the fans that he was no longer with Fer since she did not show up in the family picture. Later, when one of his followers questioned him about Fer's whereabouts, he said, "No, she's in Houston. She wanted to pursue a modeling career in Chicago. Decided to leave and realized she couldn't do it on her own. She said many things you can't take back that I won't mention. You'll have to trust me when I tell you, good luck."
One of his followers commented as, "John, don't forget Fernanda was part of the reason you got to be close with your family again. Please reconsider, you guys are so perfect together!" When another fan accused him of giving up on their relationship, Jon said, "I gave 1000% always, until it wasn't enough."
In a separate comment, he also stated, "I am not one for drama. I prefer to remain private but I'm not okay with my spouse airing our laundry to get my attention. Deleting me, deleting or [sic] pictures then putting them back, I mean come on."
Fer, on the other hand, remained quite silent. She told her followers that she doesn't want to talk anything about Jonathan again. "He's talking a lot, he can say whatever he wants. I'm not gonna talk about it until I'm ready, and today, right now, is not the moment," she said on her Instagram story.
Jon and Fer have not appeared on each other's Instagram lately hinting us that they have split.
