Travelers Season 3 released on Netflix on December 14, 2018. This is the first time the series has released exclusively on Netflix. Fans are curious to find out how long they will have to wait until the next season drops on Netflix.

Will there be another season of Travelers?

Travelers is a sci-fi series which premiered on a Canadian television channel, Showcase, on October 17, 2016. Netflix took over as the sole production company and exclusive worldwide distributor of Traveler after the second season was released in October 2017. The show has been one of the most hit series on Netflix and was tagged as one of the "most devoured series in 2017."

Talking about the upcoming season of Travelers, Netflix has not shared any words till now. Usually, Netflix announces whether or not there will a new season within a few weeks of release. With Travelers Season 3 released in mid-December, we assume the confirmation is around the corner. Presumably, Netflix will confirm if Travelers has been renewed for Season 4 in early 2019.

In 2017, Netflix released a list including the top shows that the viewers most watched in that year. The list was called "The Shows We Devoured in 2017" which included shows that people watched more than two hours a day.  On the list, Travelers was ranked at number 7, behind shows like Riverdale and 13 Reasons Why, both of which have picked for further seasons. Behind Travelers was The OA, which also got a second season commissioned.

It is difficult to predict Netflix's decision now as it has not disclosed the viewing figures of Travelers in 2018. It is not known if Travelers have enough viewers to guarantee another season.  So far, Travelers Season 3 has received a positive review from Forbes critic Merrill Barr on Rotten Tomatoes. He wrote, "What we get this year from the show is the best example of what a television series should be."

Travelers Season 3 introduced a few new casts

Since Travelers first released in 2016, it stars Erin McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, and Patrick Gilmore in the lead roles. The show also stars J. Alex Brinson, Leah Cairns, Enrico Colantoni, Chad Krowchuk, Arnold Pinnock, Jennifer Spencer, Ian Tracey and Kimberley Sustad in the recurring roles. 

Like the first two seasons, the third season also introduced several guest stars such as Benjamin Ratner, Rebecca Soichet, Magda Apanowicz, Christopher Heyerdahl, Veronika Hadraca, and Karen Holness.
