Sarah Horton returned to Days of Our Lives more than 27 years later. Originated in December 1981, the character has been portrayed by multiple actresses, with Linsey Godfrey taking over the role in the fall of 2018. This is the first time Sarah has returned to Days of Our Lives since 1991 when she left town with sister, Melissa Horton, and settled in Nashville.

Sarah Horton's history on Days of Our Lives

Sarah is the daughter of Maggie and Mickey Horton. She was born in 1981 via artificial insemination. Growing up, she has faced a lot of drama regarding her real parentage since Maggie is her surrogate mother and Mickey is her adoptive father. Initially, it was believed that Evan Whyland was her biological father but later, as a teenager, she found out that Dr. Neil is her real dad.

While she has had a lot of difficulties dealing with her real father, her relationship with her mother hasn't been nice too since she caught her in bed with Dr. Neil. She decided to tell her father Mickey about Maggie's affair and thankfully, the couple was able to work things out.

In 1991, Sarah and her sister Melissa decided to leave town and start new lives. Since then, the Horton sisters had been living in Nashville.
