More details on Ozzy's hospitalization are emerging after his wife, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed on February 4 that the singer was experiencing complications from the flu.

Osbourne's health has been improving recently. Their son, Jack Osbourne, took to Instagram to share that Ozzy is doing much better.

Posting a selfie from his car, Jack wrote in the caption, "Fresh cut. New glasses. Sunny day. All is well. Now I'm off to see dad. He's doing much better. Thanks for all your messages."

Ozzy Osbourne was checked into the University of Southern California Keck Hospital on February 4. Sharon and their son, Jack, showed up soon after along with security. Sharon has been staying by her husband's side, even skipping her co-hosting duties on The Talk on February 5. She returned on the CBS show the following day. She informed the fans of Ozzy's hospitalization on Twitter.

"As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love."

Days before being hospitalized, Osbourne had announced that he would be postponing some dates in his No More Tears 2 world tour due to illness. His publicist put out a statement saying, "Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to postpone the entire UK and European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour on doctors' orders. 

In a personal statement, Ozzy said, "I'm completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s___. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. "
