ABC For Life actress Joy Bryant is married. She tied the knot with stuntman Dave Pope on June 28, 2008. They had their wedding in the Hamptons. She was engaged to Pope since October 2007, whom she met on the set of Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. 

Joy currently doesn't share any children with her husband, and as a matter of fact, she has no intentions of having children. In a 2018 interview with US Weekly, Joy gave fans a deeper look into her married life with Dave Pope, where she talked about not wanting to have any children.

Joy Bryant is a main cast member of ABC's legal drama For Life. She was cast to portray Marie Wallace on the show in March 2019. Marie Wallace is the estranged wife of the lead star, Aaron Wallace (played by Nicholas Pinnock).

For Life, co-produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, is based on the life of Issac Wright Jr., who was wrongfully sentenced to life in prison. While incarcerated, he became a licensed attorney and helped others to overturn the wrongful convictions.
