Jason Canela is OUT at Young and the Restless. The actor took to Twitter confirm the news on March 25. He shared a heartfelt note for his fans writing that it was a pleasure to work with co-stars like Peter Bergman (Jack), Sasha Calle (Lola), and Noemi Gonzales (Mia).

"I feel blessed to have been a part of something so special! I appreciate each and every single person that makes up part of the @YandR_CBS family! Our makeup team, our crew, our security! Without them there is nothing šŸ’ÆšŸ™šŸ½ The team behind the camera is what makes it all worth it," he wrote in the caption.

The actor assured fans that this is not the last that they will see of him. "I promise to always give šŸ’Æ of me in all that I do! Love you all with all my ā¤ļø Iā€™m not saying good bye, Iā€™m just saying see ya laterāœŒšŸ½," he wrote on March 26.

What happened to Arturo Rosales on Young and the Restless?

Arturo Rosales was introduced in February 2018 as a contractor. He shockingly becomes a boy toy to Nikki and after she breaks things off, he moves on to Abby. Abby later finds out that Arturo had slept his with his brother's wife, Mia. To prove his love for her, Arturo proposes to her and she says yes.  Arturo confesses to Abby that he slept with Mia again. Abby then takes a hammer to his car.

Meanwhile, Mia's relationship with Rey is also over for good which has fans wondering if she is leaving town with Arturo. Stay tuned to know how Arturo will be written out of the story.

Young and the Restless Comings and Goings

Jason Canela leaving Young and the Restless is one of the many cast changes performed by new headwriter Josh Griffith. As fans may know, Alice Hunter (Kerry Johnson) is also leaving the show. "To all asking - yes, Kerry is taking an indefinite hiatus. She earns it though šŸ˜‚ youā€™ll see soon enough. I LOVE the arc, even if Iā€™m sad to leave," Alice wrote on Twitter on March 4.

The show is getting its new Adam Newman in April. Famous In Love actor Mark Grossman will be portraying the role of Victor Newman's notorious son. Eileen Davidson is back as Ashley Abbott on April 1. Jennifer Taylor will be portraying Rebekah Barlow on April 4 and April 5 and Mitch Eakins appears as Brandon Rose on April 5.
