Michael Mealor officially leaving ‘The Young and the Restless’; Where is he going?

At first, it was Jason Thompson, the cast of ‘The Young and the Restless’ who revealed to the viewers that Micheal was leaving the show. Because Michael himself was silent at the time, people thought it was only a joke. The rumor did circulate but fans didn’t believe it and still had hope to see Mealor play one of their favorite characters, Kyle.

However, a few days later, Michael went to Instagram to declare the circulating rumor was true. He posted a picture of ‘The Young and the Restless’ family expressing heartfelt gratitude to his supportive fans and all the crew members involved in the show. 

Soon his farewell post flooded with love and supportive comments. One person wrote, ‘Michael, I can’t wait to see what you do next!’.

Michael has not declared where he’s going next as of now. Through his recent post, it seems like he is just hanging around and spending time with his dog.

Nearly a decade earlier, Michael did a Coca-Cola campaign for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and Abercrombie & Fitch. After that, he began appearing in television gigs and started modeling. He also played music videos with famous singers like Britney and Lady Gaga.

Although he became popular with his modeling career, he rose to fame from his acting career. He first played in the 2014 movie Indigenous and since then he started to appear in other movies and TV series. He landed roles on Roadies, Supergirl, Chasing life,  Fratty Dude and Frat Dude, and so on.
