The entire world is reeling from the shocking death of basketball giant Kobe Bryant at the moment. Kobe passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at age 41, in a helicopter crash. Kobe was flying from Orange County, California, to Thousand Oaks, California, with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and five others for a basketball game where Kobe was supposed to coach and Gianna was supposed to play. The helicopter crashed in Calabasas, California, at 9:45 a.m. and killed all the nine passengers in it, including the pilot.
People from around the world have been paying tribute to the sports star and others perished in the crash. The celebrity world is also mourning the loss of Kobe, his daughter, and her teammates.
Several Young and the Restless stars took to social media to share their thoughts and condolences to the grieving families. Here are some tweets from Y&R stars like Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) and Hunter King (Summer Newman) among others.

Shortly afterward, he posted a descriptive tweet as “KOBE NEVER left LAKERS! He will forever be an integral part of this town! I always admired his work ethic, his drive to NEVER GIVE UP!! I understand that drive! There was a purity about his passion for excellence!”

Hunter King also shared a picture of Kobe donned in his Lakers jersey and wrote, “There are no words. My heart aches for his family and loved ones. Kobe Bryant will always remain a legend.”

Hunter also shared an emotional post on Instagram showing the father-daughter duo’s loving moment and wrote, “My heart is aching for the Bryant’s and for the other families involved in yesterday’s tragedies. Seeing videos of Kobe with his daughter GiGi tear at my heart and bring tears to my eyes...”
Meanwhile, Alyvia Alyn Lind wrote, “This is so crazy. my heart is broken. rip to 2 LEGENDS. my prayers going out to their family and anyone else who was in the crash.”

Sean Dominic (Dr. Nate Hastings), who shared that basketball is his favorite sport, paid tribute to Kobe and Gianna on Twitter as well as Instagram.
Former Y&R star Darnell Kirkwood (Jordan Wilde) shared this beautiful post on Instagram in honor of Kobe.
