TikTok stars Cody Orlove and Zoe LaVerne Pemberton are one of the cutest couples on the platform at the current time. The couple has been dating on again and off again for more than three years. Recently, Cody Orlove and Zoe LaVerne got married and announced the news on their respective Instagram handles. They even filmed their wedding and uploaded it on Cody’s YouTube channel, where he revealed that the wedding was not real. Read on to know the story in detail.
Cody Orlove celebrated his birthday with Zoe LaVerne despite the break-up
Cody and Zoe began dating on February 1, 2017. Over the years, they have had quite a rocky relationship but it’s no secret that all couples go through rough patches. Over with these two internet sensations, they have split a couple of times but they have always found their way back to each other.
Cody and Zoe were not together during their birthdays last year. But as good friends, Cody wished Zoe on her birthday while Zoe was with Cody on his birthday.
About three months later, on November 9, 2019, Cody announced on his Instagram handle that they are once again together. He shared a snap of them kissing on the lips and wrote, “wow.. I can now say she’s mine again. I cant tell you guys how nervous I was tonight asking her to go out with me, but she said YES. can’t wait for you all to see how I did ask her, but.. zody is back, always&forever. I love you zoe laverne pemberton❤️🔐”
Earlier this year, both Zoe and Cody shared a picture on their Instagram handles which showed Cody kneeling in front of Zoe like any man would do when proposing to their lady. They did not explain much about what was going on but Cody simply wrote, “meant to be.. 💍❤️” Meanwhile, Zoe captioned the photo as “you’re my soulmate...💍”
The ring emoticons on both TikTokers’ caption insinuated that they became engaged and good wishes from followers showered in the comment sections. There were also a few people who did not believe it was real.
On February 12, the couple shocked everyone when they announced that they are married. But something seemed fishy as Zoe wrote, “i can officially say i’ve been married for 24 hours.” Cody had uploaded a video entitled WE GOT MARRIED! **Cody & Zoe's Official Wedding Video** on his YouTube channel as well.
In the YouTube video, Cody recites his vows as, “Today is the day - the day where I get to marry my best friend. I always knew and hoped this day would come. It’s been a long three years and with that came laughter, love, excitement, and thrill and now it’s officially here and I’m nervous and I even have butterflies in my stomach. But it was all worth it because I get to marry this beautiful, amazing, talented, hilarious girl that is mine and now is mine for 24 hours.”
Cody made it clear in the description section that the wedding was not real. He wrote, “We wish this could be real, but we wanted to try it out. We're too young, and definitely need more time. Just remember, one day it'll actually happen.”
In his next video “Proposing to my girlfriend,” he tells his friends about his dream where he married Zoe. He explains that after having the dream he really wanted to go through it but they can not as they are still just 18. So Cody, along with his friends, come up with an idea to get married for only 24 hours. At the end of the video, Cody proposed to Zoe to marry him for 24 hours and Zoe says yes.

Cody Orlove was born on August 17, 2001, in Chicago, Illinois. He is one of three kids of his parents Sue Orlove and Rick Orlove, a drummer. He has an elder brother named Anthony Orlove and a sister named Alexa “Lexi” Orlove.
Anthony joined the social media world in February 2012 by creating a Twitter handle. He eventually started a YouTube channel where he showcases his drumming and singing skills.
