What happened to Bianna Golodryga on CBS This Morning?

Golodryga had joined CBS This Morning in October 2018 joining hosts Gayle King, Norah O'Donnell and John Dickerson. On April 3, 2019, CBS News announced that Golodryga had decided to leave the network. "We thank her for her many contributions during her time here at CBS News and wish her the very best in her future endeavors," the CBS News statement read. 

The Russian-born journalist took to Twitter to confirm the news of her departure. "Some professional news: I've enjoyed my time @CBSNews , but it is now the right moment for me to move on. I'm grateful for the friends and colleagues I've worked with @CBSThisMorning, and wish everyone the best. On to the next chapter!" Golodryga wrote on April 4.

Where is Bianna Golodryga going? New show in 2019?

Golodryga hosted CBS This Morning for six months. She hasn't revealed if she's moving on to a new show. But we're sure that we'll hear from her soon!

Bianna Golodryga is married to Peter R. Orszag. Her husband was the budget director for the Obama administration.

The couple wed in 2010 in New York and have two children together. Golodryga is a step mother to Orszag's two children from previous relationships, Josh and Leila. Golodryga gave birth to their youngest child, Maia, on May 8, 2016.
