Scott Stanford leaves PIX11
The anchor took to his official Instagram and Twitter accounts on January 30 to reveal that he was leaving PIX11 News. He shared that January 31 would be his last day on the job. Stanford had joined the station in 2013 and became a fan favorite among sports enthusiasts across the country.
"This Thursday will be last night on PIX11 News! It's been 5-1/2 years of nothing but laughs and new relationships! I'll keep you posted on the next move...," wrote the funny anchor.
He took the time to reassure his WWE followers that he will be continuing his job as a reporter there. "Don't worry WWE fans, I'm still here for you!" he continued.

Scott Stanford hasn't revealed what his new job will be and he hasn't exactly been answering the burning questions from his fans on Twitter.
On January 29, 2019, he joked on Twitter that he might be interesting in joining the Fox 26 team. Replying to a question from evening news anchor Kaitlin Monte, Stanford said, "Let me know if there's room!"
To another curious Twitter user, he replied, "Aside from WWE, I'm driving a Mr. Softee truck."

Scott Stanford was born on August 30, 1966, in Haverstraw, New York. He has a degree in Broadcasting and Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego. Before joining PIX11, he worked as a sports anchor for WNBC. He served as a fill-in host for The Crossover on NBCSN and a news anchor on WNBC's COZI TV.
Stanford has also been a co-anchor at PIX11 Morning News. He has received six New York Emmy Awards for "On-Camera Achievement." He has been serving as a WWE studio host since 2009.
