American Pickers is currently on its Season 21 on History and fans are still curious about who the mysterious Bryan Laird aka the Colonel is. He appeared in Season 15. Bryan Laird: Who is the Colonel on American Pickers?
As of now, we don't know a whole lot about the reclusive businessman. But we know that his real name is Bryan Laird. The cast of American Pickers headed to East Texas for treasures hidden in the collection of one Bryan Laird.
The Colonel was mentioned on the first episode of Season 15, which premiered on May 4, 2016. The episode, which was filmed on March 26, 2016, was aptly titled "A Colonel of Truth." The episode guide reads, "The guys pick the collection of a reclusive and mysterious businessman named "the Colonel," who has gone to great lengths to keep his identity a secret."
Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz browsed through a 20,000 square foot warehouse in Longview where Bryan Laird's mountain of antiques were set for a sale. The collection also featured the Colonel's first automobile, a 1930 Ford Model A. The auctioneer, Walt Cade, revealed that the car was seen in the 1967 movie, Bonnie and Clyde.
The guys met up with Ken, the Colonel's business partner. After taking a look around the Bryan Laird Antique Collection, Mike and Frank picked up numerous items to take home. Frank bargained with Ken for a Valvoline sign while Mike took home a Imperial Royalite coal oil dispenser for $425.
