Married At First Sight's Melissa Rawson updated her fans on what she's been going through in 2021. She shared an emotional post, where she wrote about discovering lumps on her breast and the procedure she had to have. On one hand, she went through a terrible health scare whereas, on other hand, she is a new mom-to-be. Is everything okay with Melissa? How are she and her husband dealing with their pregnancy?
Melissa discovered lumps on her breast; How is she now?
Melissa gave a raw and emotional announcement to her Instagram followers earlier this month saying she has several lumps in her breast. She received this scary news when she went to the doctor for an ultrasound. There were a total of 3 lumps on her breast called Fibroadenomas according to a doctor.
She had to go through a biopsy procedure after discovering those lumps.
“Glad that's done! The local anesthetic worked on two of the three lumps,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
She added, “I felt absolutely nothing for the first two but oh boy did I feel every bit of the biopsy needle for the final lump. Feeling very raw and emotional (the babies didn't give me a day off from morning sickness either!) so I'm going home for bed rest and a treat.”
However, Rawson did assure her followers there was nothing to be worried about.

Melissa is pregnant with twins; Who is the father of her children?
In July 2021, Melissa announced the proposal and engagement along with the news that she is pregnant with twins. The father of her children is none other than her boyfriend-turned-fiance, Bryce Ruthven. Their twins are due in December 2021. It does seem their relationship is going fast as they’ve been living together for only about six months.
Melissa and Bryce also did a beautiful pregnancy photoshoot last month. Here’s a picture of the shoot she shared on her Instagram where she mentioned having fun on the set but, at the same time, dealing with constant morning sickness.
During an interview with Today Extra, Melissa said, “When I found out I was pregnant I was quite overwhelmed, and then when I found out we were having twins I was actually really excited and I don't think I'm fully prepared for what we're about to encounter.”
She also gave a sarcastic response saying, “I'm looking forward to the challenge. If I can get through Married At First Sight, this has got to be a piece of cake.”
Melissa Rawson is prioritizing her mental health by taking a break from social media
Melissa is mostly always active on her social media. She doesn’t miss anything to share. But fans have stopped seeing posts and stories from her, they started to get worried. So to clarify everything, Melissa said in one of the clips of her story that taking time off from social media was her recent quick decision.
Rawson was constantly getting trolls online and many people were criticizing her relationship with Bryce. She revealed that this was the main reason she didn't want to be on social media. The 32-year-old directly told the media, “My mental health is not okay.”
