Emily got married on September 21, 2019, in her homeland Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her lovely husband, Rex Smith, proposed to her in 2018 when they went to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Emily has worked at WPTA and WOWT news. She worked for WPTA for seven years, as a morning and noon anchor, as well as producer. After that, in late 2019 she started to work at WOWT news where she anchored the weekend evening newscasts and reported on general assignments during the week.
